This in-person session is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our organization, including membership requirements, the different committees you can apply to, and what being part of our team is all about. Whether you're exploring your interests or ready to dive in, we’ll cover everything you need to know to get started.

Our second info meeting will be held online for your convenience! We’ll cover the same details as our first session, including membership requirements, an overview of our committees, and everything you need to know about joining Hook’d. This is a great chance to ask questions and get all the info you need from the comfort of your own space! Zoom link is coming soon.

General Meeting #1

Our first general meeting is in-person and mandatory for all accepted members. During our GM, you’ll officially be assigned to your committees, meet your fellow members, and get all the details you need to kick off the semester.

Hook’d is accepting members for all committees! This includes Writing, Layout, Creative, Digital Artwork, Events, Outreach and Opportunities, Web Development, and Marketing.

Not at all! Hook’d was created for beginners, and we don't require any relevant experience. Most of our members joined without prior experience, and we will teach you anything you need to know!
Applicants with experience will have an opportunity when applicable to showcase their prior work!

Yes, there is a $45 membership fee. We offer flexible payment plans, and the fees cover merch, member events, free samples from our partners, and a copy of the semester’s issue!

Yes, each member can apply for up to 2 committees. You’ll also have the opportunity to select your preference during the application process. Each member will be accepted to only one committee.
